Hi, I'm Sheila.

Welcome to She Shoots Photografix.

While I discovered my passion for graphic design and photography later in life, I’ve learned that the present is always the right moment to pursue what inspires you. That timing shapes my creative voice—blending nostalgic sensibilities with a forward‑looking perspective that continues to evolve.

I consider myself a storyteller in color and shape, who builds worlds where mascots fly fighter jets, communities celebrate heritage, and everyday organizations feel iconic. I believe my work is vibrant, emotional, and unmistakably rooted in the people I serve.

I specialize in bold, narrative‑driven graphics that celebrate community, motivation, and identity. I blend illustration, photo‑manipulation, and strong typographic design to create high‑energy visuals for schools, churches, veterans’ organizations, festivals, and small businesses. With a versatile style ranging from patriotic and inspirational to playful and athletic, I work hard at turning local pride and organizational spirit into compelling, polished artwork.

My photography strengths are in-the-moment action and event, but expanding additional studio skills in portraiture and artistic creation. Photography as a hobby grew from a desire to capture memories of my nephews for their mothers (my sisters). I tried documenting my daughter's highlights and found it difficult to watch, be a fan, and document at the same time. After she graduated, I had some free time and decided to gift my sisters with tangible memories.

For the last 7+ years, I have provided event pictures, such as prom, graduation, sporting events, etc. to the local paper at my previous location. Others have been as a service to the local school there, for parents and community, and some for my own artistic endeavors. Most have been posted on my facebook page for She Shoots Photografix.
